Cannonball!

I just signed up for the Cannonball Read over at Pajiba.  The first time around the goal was 100 books in 365 days.  Massive and daunting, one book every 3.5 days speaks mountains about the amount of free time/dead time in someones day.  Needless to say, I could see myself immediately falling behind and then frantically trying to get through some dubiously young young adult to try to catch up at the end.

This season is a much more manageable 52 books in one year.  I’m pretty sure that I read that many already, but the kicker is that I actually have to review them too.  I’m looking forward to stretching my writing muscles again.

Thank god I’ve just discovered Terry Pratchett (author of 36 Discworld books alone).  How could no one have told me about him before?  Hello?  Jim Shiffert - I’m looking in your direction!
